Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. This year to date, 41 staff workshops have been run with a total of 461 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 14,390 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations

In August, eLearning advisers provided 83 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2026 have catered for 519 Course Coordinators teaching into 680 courses, which constitute approximately 19.4% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 89,089 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 796. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Ultra Gradebook, Turnitin and Ultra Assignment.

The number of jobs for August 2026 decreased by 49.5% when compared to August 2025 and decreased by 15.8% when compared to August 2024 and decreased by 39.2% when compared to July 2026.

Course Management jobs for August 2026 decreased by 84.7% when compared with August 2025 and decreased by 30.8% when compared with August 2024 and decreased by 88.6% when compared with July 2026. The new Course copy automation tool has reduced the number of SI-net course requests.

Tools & Other jobs for August 2026 decreased by 37.7% when compared with August 2025 and decreased by 14.3% when compared with August 2024 and decreased by 6% when compared with July 2026.

The distribution of jobs were mostly through Tools & Other (92.44%) with Course Management (7.56%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

During August 2026 there were fourteen (14) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Echo360 (3), Gradescope (1), H5P (2), Inspera (2), Learn.UQ Course Management (1), Learn.UQ Gradebook (1), Learn.UQ Tests (2), Turnitin (2).

All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
