August 2024 Usage Statistics
Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In August, 8 workshops were conducted with 134 participants attending. This year to date, 54 staff workshops have been run with a total of 849 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 12,247 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations
In August, eLearning advisers provided 51 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2024 have catered for 271 Course Coordinators teaching into 341 courses which constitute approximately 9.5% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 40,377 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 416. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Inspera, Grade Centre, and Turnitin.

The number of jobs for August 2024 increased by 2% when compared to August 2023 yet decreased by 20.2% when compared to August 2022 and decreased by 55.4% when compared to July 2024.
Course Management jobs for August 2024 decreased by 56% when compared with August 2023 and decreased by 76.6% when compared with August 2022 and decreased by 91.7% when compared with July 2024.
Tools & Other jobs for August 2024 increased by 15.1% when compared with August 2023 and increased by 5.2% when compared with August 2022 yet decreased by 19.6% when compared with July 2024.
The vast majority of jobs were distributed through Tools & Other (90.8%) with Course Management (9.2%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS
During August 2024 there were twelve (12) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Active Learn Tools (1), Blackboard Access (2), Blackboard Tests (1), Blackboard Usage (1), Echo360 (1), ePortfolio (1), Inspera (1), UQ Extend (4).
All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
