Workshops run and staff attendances

Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered through Staff Development to help staff prepare their courses each semester. This year to date, 27 staff workshops have been run, with a total of 161 staff attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 5,881 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Solutions Service

The eLearning Solutions Service is designed to help staff implement the UQ eLearning tools that most successfully solve common teaching and learning problems. The eLearning Solutions Service to date in 2020 has catered for 68 Course Coordinators teaching into 89 courses and servicing a total of 12,655 student experiences across the university. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Online marking / submission, Grade Centre and eLearning refresher respectively.

The number of jobs for February 2020 decreased by 6.7% when compared to February 2019 and decreased by 13.3% when compared to February 2018 yet increased by 3.4% when compared to January 2020.

Course Management jobs for February 2020 decreased by 14.9% when compared with February 2019 yet increased by 11.4% when compared with February 2018 yet decreased by 30.4% when compared with January 2020.

Tools & Other jobs for February 2020 increased by 2.8% when compared with February 2019 yet decreased by 29.1% when compared with February 2018 yet increased by 48.7% when compared with January 2020.

The distribution of jobs were similarly divided amongst Tools & Other (50.91%) with Course Management (49.09%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

There were seven Urgent jobs during February 2020. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
