Workshops run and staff attendances

Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered through Staff Development to help staff prepare their courses each semester. This month 9 staff workshops have been run with a total of 153 attendances. This year to date, 84 staff workshops have been run with a total of 827 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 7,977 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Solutions Service

The eLearning Solutions Service is designed to help staff implement the UQ eLearning tools that most successfully solve common teaching and learning problems. The eLearning Solutions Service to date in 2021 has catered for 268 Course Coordinators teaching into 349 courses which constitutes approximately 10.12% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 46,921 student experiences across the university. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Online marking / submission, Online quiz / exam and Grade Centre .

The number of jobs for August 2021 decreased by 26.7% when compared to August 2020 yet increased by 0.7% when compared to August 2019 yet decreased by 70.3% when compared to July 2021.

Course Management jobs for August 2021 decreased by 63.8% when compared with August 2020 and decreased by 66.2% when compared with August 2019 and decreased by 95% when compared with July 2021.

Tools & Other jobs for August 2021 decreased by 17.1% when compared with August 2020 yet increased by 22.9% when compared with August 2019 yet decreased by 32.4% when compared with July 2021.

The vast majority of jobs were distributed through Tools & Other (89.82%) with Course Management (10.18%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

There were twenty three Urgent jobs during August 2021. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
two of Blackboard Access, one of Blackboard Course Content, one of Blackboard Groups, one of Blackboard Population, one of Blackboard Tests, one of Course Request, one of ECP, one of ePortfolio, one of EdX, six of Exam related, one of Kaltura, six of Turnitin.

Twenty two of the Twenty three Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
