Workshops run and staff attendances

Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered through Staff Development to help staff prepare their courses each semester. This month 1 staff workshop has been run with a total of 4 attendances. This year to date, 48 staff workshops have been run with a total of 413 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 7,563 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Solutions Service

The eLearning Solutions Service is designed to help staff implement the UQ eLearning tools that most successfully solve common teaching and learning problems. The eLearning Solutions Service to date in 2021 has catered for 123 Course Coordinators teaching into 160 courses which constitutes approximately 4.64% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 22,621 student experiences across the university. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Online marking / submission, Online quiz / exam and Grade Centre .

The number of jobs for April 2021 decreased by 45.9% when compared to April 2020 yet increased by 24.8% when compared to April 2019 yet decreased by 35% when compared to March 2021.

Course Management jobs for April 2021 decreased by 50% when compared with April 2020 yet increased by 20% when compared with April 2019 yet decreased by 24.9% when compared with March 2021.

Tools & Other jobs for April 2021 decreased by 43.3% when compared with April 2020 yet increased by 27.3% when compared with April 2019 yet decreased by 39.5% when compared with March 2021.

The distribution of jobs were mainly in favour of Tools & Other (64.81%) with Course Management (35.19%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

There were eight Urgent jobs during April 2021. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
two of Blackboard Assignment Tool, one of Blackboard Tests, one of Blackboard Tools, three of Exam related, one of Turnitin.

All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
