Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In January, workshops were conducted with 82 participants attending. This year to date, staff workshops have been run with a total of 82 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 12,518 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations

In January, eLearning advisers provided 29 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2025 have catered for 26 Course Coordinators teaching into 36 courses which constitute approximately 1% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 5,201 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 29. The top three most common individual tools implemented are UltraGrade Centre, and Rubrics.

The number of jobs for January 2025 increased by 4% when compared to January 2024 and increased by 5.3% when compared to January 2023 and increased by 30.2% when compared to December 2024.

Course Management jobs for January 2025 decreased by 3.9% when compared with January 2024 yet increased by 7.5% when compared with January 2023 and increased by 27% when compared with December 2024.

Tools & Other jobs for January 2025 increased by 21.3% when compared with January 2024 and increased by 0.4% when compared with January 2023 and increased by 37.1% when compared with December 2024.

The distribution of jobs were mostly through Course Management (68.38%) with Tools & Other (31.62%).

All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
