August 2025 Usage Statistics
Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In August, 6 workshops were conducted with 120 participants attending. This year to date, 120 staff workshops have been run with a total of 1,283 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 13,719 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations
In August, eLearning advisers provided 89 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2025 have catered for 306 Course Coordinators teaching into 396 courses which constitute approximately 10.6% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 54,606 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 453. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Ultra Gradebook, Turnitin, and Inspera.

The number of jobs for August 2025 increased by 31.5% when compared to August 2024 and increased by 36.3% when compared to August 2023 yet decreased by 20.2% when compared to July 2025.
Course Management jobs for August 2025 increased by 69.4% when compared with August 2024 and increased by 30.6% when compared with August 2023 yet decreased by 63.1% when compared with July 2025.
Tools & Other jobs for August 2025 increased by 22.3% when compared with August 2024 and increased by 37.8% when compared with August 2023 and increased by 10% when compared with July 2025.
The distribution of jobs were mainly in favour of Tools & Other (80.45%) with Course Management (19.55%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS
During August 2025 there were twenty four (24) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Blackboard Access (2), Blackboard Course Creation (1), Blackboard Grade Centre (1), Blackboard Tests (1), Blackboard Tools (3), Blackboard Usage (1), Echo360 (6), EchoPoll (1), Gradescope (3), Inspera (3), UQ Extend (1).
All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
