March 2019 Usage Statistics
eLearning Training Attendances
Practical, hands-on eLearning workshops are offered through Staff Professional Development to help staff prepare their courses each semester. 29 staff workshops have been run this year as of March, with 4 of those requiring waitlists and consequently 2 additional workshops were scheduled to meet the demand. Staff workshop attendances this year total 216 participants as of March and total 5314 since 2012.
Guide Update Requests
Throughout the year, updates to staff guides on the eLearning website and student guides on the Library website are requested by staff. This year to date, 22 new guides have been created, 34 exisiting guides have been updated and 2 guides have been removed based on requests. In total, 58 guides have been created, updated or removed, with 50 of those being staff guides and 8 being student guides.
eLearning Solutions Service
The eLearning Solutions Service is designed to help staff implement the UQ eLearning tools that most successfully solve common teaching and learning problems. The eLearning Solutions Service to date in 2019 has catered for 93 Course Coordinators teaching into 143 courses and servicing a total of 14,334 student experiences across the university. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Grade Centre, Online marking / submission and ePortfolio WIL - Chalk & Wire respectively.

The number of jobs for March 2019 decreased by 19.9% when compared to March 2018 and decreased by 8.3% when compared to March 2017 and decreased by 47.6% when compared to February 2019.
Course Management jobs for March 2019 decreased by 52.9% when compared with March 2018 and decreased by 5.9% when compared with March 2017 and decreased by 82% when compared with February 2019.
Tools & Other jobs for March 2019 decreased by 4.6% when compared with March 2018 and decreased by 8.8% when compared with March 2017 and decreased by 7.6% when compared with February 2019.
The majority of jobs were distributed through Tools & Other (81.48%) with Course Management (18.52%).
RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS
There were eleven Urgent jobs during March 2019. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
six of Blackboard Tests, two of Course Request, one of Kaltura, two of Turnitin.
All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
