Workshops run and staff attendance
Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered through Workday to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In October, 3 workshops were conducted with 74 participants attending. This year to date, 99 staff workshops have been run with a total of 1593 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 11,312 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations
In the month of October, eLearning advisers provided 63 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2023 have catered for 328 Course Coordinators teaching into 360 courses which constitute approximately 9.9% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 45,737 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 416. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Online quiz/exam (Inspera), Grade Centre, and Online marking/submission (Turnitin).

The number of jobs for October 2023 increased by 5.4% when compared to October 2022 and increased by 4.2% when compared to October 2021 and increased by 30.4% when compared to September 2023.
Course Management jobs for October 2023 increased by 22.2% when compared with October 2022 and increased by 25.9% when compared with October 2021 and increased by 71.1% when compared with September 2023.
Tools & Other jobs for October 2023 decreased by 9.2% when compared with October 2022 and decreased by 13.8% when compared with October 2021 and decreased by 6.9% when compared with September 2023.
The distribution of jobs were similarly divided amongst Tools & Other (51.81%) with Course Management (48.19%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS
During October 2023 there were ten (10) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Blackboard Population (2), Exam related (2), Inspera (3), Kaltura (1), Turnitin (2).
All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
