Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In April, 11 workshops were conducted with 113 participants attending. This year to date, 38 staff workshops have been run with a total of 556 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 12,992 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations

In April, eLearning advisers provided 34 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2025 have catered for 128 Course Coordinators teaching into 168 courses which constitute approximately 4.8% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 25,930 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 167. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Turnitin, Grade Centre, and Inspera.

The number of jobs for April 2025 increased by 31.5% when compared to April 2024 and increased by 46.7% when compared to April 2023 and increased by 30.6% when compared to March 2025.

Course Management jobs for April 2025 increased by 29.8% when compared with April 2024 and increased by 59.2% when compared with April 2023 and increased by 79% when compared with March 2025.

Tools & Other jobs for April 2025 increased by 32.8% when compared with April 2024 and increased by 36.8% when compared with April 2023 yet decreased by 7.3% when compared with March 2025.

The distribution of jobs were similarly divided amongst Tools & Other (55.67%) with Course Management (44.33%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

During April 2025 there were twenty two (22) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Blackboard Assignment Tool (5), Blackboard Tests (1), Blackboard Usage (1), Echo360 (1), Ed Discussion (2), ePortfolio (3), Inspera (5), Site Request (1), Turnitin (2), UQ Extend (1).

All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
