January 2026 Usage Statistics
Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In January, eLearning Advisers team had worked on a number of new and existing workshops updates. Since 2012, there has been a total of 13,929 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations
In January, eLearning advisers provided 52 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2026 have catered for 44 Course Coordinators teaching into 63 courses, which constitute approximately 1.7% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 6,295 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 52. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Ultra Gradebook, Ultra general skills, and Ultra Assignment.

The number of jobs for January 2026 decreased by 52.2% when compared to January 2025 and decreased by 50.1% when compared to January 2024 and decreased by 59.4% when compared to December 2025.
Course Management jobs for January 2026 decreased by 75.9% when compared with January 2025 and decreased by 76.9% when compared with January 2024 and decreased by 66.4% when compared with December 2025.
Tools & Other jobs for January 2026 decreased by 1.2% when compared with January 2025 yet increased by 20.9% when compared with January 2024 yet decreased by 54.4% when compared with December 2025.
The distribution of jobs were slightly in favour of Tools & Other (65.66%) with Course Management (34.34%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS
During January 2026 there were three (3) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Blackboard Tests (1), Echo360 (1), Turnitin (1).
All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
