Workshops run and staff attendances

Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered through Staff Development to help staff prepare their courses each semester. This month 12 staff workshops have been run with a total of 80 attendances. This year to date, 148 staff workshops have been run, with a total of 1,389 staff attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 7,109 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Solutions Service

The eLearning Solutions Service is designed to help staff implement the UQ eLearning tools that most successfully solve common teaching and learning problems. The eLearning Solutions Service to date in 2020 has catered for 422 Course Coordinators teaching into 555 courses which constitutes approximately 16.09% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 70,503 student experiences across the university. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Online quiz / exam, Online marking / submission and Virtual Classroom - Zoom.

The number of jobs for November 2020 increased by 30.4% when compared to November 2019 yet decreased by 1.9% when compared to November 2018 yet increased by 15.1% when compared to October 2020.

Course Management jobs for November 2020 increased by 9.5% when compared with November 2019 yet decreased by 26.1% when compared with November 2018 yet increased by 66.9% when compared with October 2020.

Tools & Other jobs for November 2020 increased by 46.7% when compared with November 2019 and increased by 24.3% when compared with November 2018 yet decreased by 20.3% when compared with October 2020.

The distribution of jobs were mainly in favour of Tools & Other (56.01%) with Course Management (43.99%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

There were thirty four Urgent jobs during November 2020. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
