May 2026 Usage statistics

Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. This year to date, 25 staff workshops have been run with a total of 270 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 14,199 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations

In May, eLearning advisers provided 204 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2026 have catered for 331 Course Coordinators teaching into 448 courses, which constitute approximately 12.7% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 60,497 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 501. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Ultra Gradebook, Turnitin and Ultra assignment.

The number of jobs for May 2026 decreased by 6% when compared to May 2025 and decreased by 11% when compared to May 2024 yet increased by 43% when compared to April 2026.

Course Management jobs for May 2026 decreased by 15.7% when compared with May 2025 and decreased by 28.1% when compared with May 2024 yet increased by 71.1% when compared with April 2026.

Tools & Other jobs for May 2026 increased by 7% when compared with May 2025 and increased by 17% when compared with May 2024 and increased by 12% when compared with April 2026.

The distribution of jobs were exactly the same between Course Management (52.51%) with Tools & Other (47.49%).
