Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In May, 18 workshops were conducted with 198 participants attending. This year to date, 56 staff workshops have been run with a total of 754 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 13,190 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations

In May, eLearning advisers provided 45 appointments to help courses adopt eLearning technology. The eLearning Adviser Consultations to date in 2025 have catered for 147 Course Coordinators teaching into 201 courses which constitute approximately 5.4% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 28,795 student experiences across the university. In total, the number of appointments equals 212. The top three most common individual tools implemented are TurnitinGrade Centre, and Inspera.

The number of jobs for May 2025 decreased by 9.4% when compared to May 2024 and decreased by 28.8% when compared to May 2023 yet increased by 25.7% when compared to April 2025.

Course Management jobs for May 2025 decreased by 17.7% when compared with May 2024 and decreased by 38.8% when compared with May 2023 yet increased by 45.2% when compared with April 2025.

Tools & Other jobs for May 2025 increased by 5.7% when compared with May 2024 yet decreased by 6.8% when compared with May 2023 and decreased by 2.3% when compared with April 2025.

The distribution of jobs were similarly divided amongst Course Management (58.96%) with Tools & Other (41.04%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

During May 2025 there were twenty four (24) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Blackboard Course Creation (5), Blackboard Groups (2), Blackboard Population (1), Blackboard Tests (4), Blackboard Usage (1), Buddycheck (1), Inspera (7), Turnitin (2), UQ Extend (1).

All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
