Create marking committees using CSV (Original) - eLearning - University of Queensland

Marking committees are used in the following use cases:

A course has different tutorial groups and each tutor needs to mark the students they have in their respective tutorial group.
Each grader would like to mark a certain number of student submissions.

The other marking option includes:

Question assignment: Each tutor/grader marks one or more questions in a test

The workflow to create marking committees includes:

Create smart-view for tutorial groups in Learn.UQ course.
Enrol students to the Inspera test using CSV file.
Notes: Committees created in this way are for tests created directly in Deliver.

Note: When Committees are enabled, you must ensure that every Grader has been assigned to a Committee.

Enrol students to the Inspera test using CSV file

Create marking committees in Inspera using CSV file

Navigate to the Grade centre of your relevant Learn.UQ course.
Click on the required tutorial group.

Click on the Work Offline button.
Select Download from the drop-down menu.

Click on the Submit button.

Click on the Download button.

Save the tutorial group grade centre list to your relevant course folder on your device. File name: Tutor name + student list
Open the tutorial group grade centre list from Step 8.
Click on the Yes button.

Note: now you will need to prepare the CSV file with two columns: committee name and Username without column header.

Delete columns A, B, D, E, F, etc. Keep column C - Username.

Delete the header row (Last Name, First Name, etc.)
Add a blank column to the left of Column B (Username).
Enter the name of the tutor in Column A.

Save as the file with the "Tutor name + committee".
Select CSV (Comma delimited) type.

Access your Inspera test (Deliver).
Add graders/tutors to your Inspera assessment.
Click on the Manage button (Committees).

Click on the Add committee button.
Select Add from CSV from the drop-down menu.

Select the committee file you saved in Steps 15-16.
Click on the Open button.

If you see the 'Success import' message, click on the Close button.

The committee will be created with tutor's name and enrol students from the uploaded list.

Click on the Tutor Name check box.
Select the Edit graders option.

Select the relevant tutor name from the list.
Click on the Finish button.

Note: When Committees are enabled, you must ensure that every Grader has been assigned to a Committee.
