After marking a response, graders can provide an overall feeback in the explanations area. There are two options:

  • Explanations can be made available for students as overall feedback.
  • Explanations can be used as notes for mark morderation and for that purpose they won't be made available to students.

  • Explanations is the first feedback that students receive when the test/exam results are released to them
  • While explanations provide an overall feedback to a student response, annotations provide in-text feedback. Page notes also provide an overall feedback, but students need to navigate to each question to view the feedback for each response while explanations are visible when results are released to students.
  • The explantions functionality needs to be enabled in Deliver if explanations are to be made available to students.
