Transfer results from Inspera to your Learn.UQ course (Ultra)

Note: If you need to transfer grades multiple times from several Inspera tests/committees to a single column in Gradebook (e.g. in case of committee marking), you will need to repeat Step 3 and Step 4 in this guide until you have all your students' grades from Inspera to Gradebook.

Instructions

To transfer Inspera exam results to your Learn.UQ course, four steps are required:

  1. Create a column in Gradebook
  2. Download Gradebook
  1. Download and prepare the Inspera exam results report file
  2. Upload the Inspera results report file to Gradebook

2. Download Gradebook

Downloading Gradebook file to have a backup copy and to use the format of the Exam column heading.

  1. Click on the download icon to download the Gradebook file.

  1. The download option Full Gradebook is selected by default.
  2. Check the Exam ​​​​​​checkbox.

  1. The file type Tab-separated File (.csv) is selected by default.
  2. The save location My Device is selected by default.
  3. Click the Download button.

  1. Enter a relevant file name; e.g Course Code + Gradebook backup.
  2. Click on the Save button.

  1. Click on the downloaded file to open it.
  2. Select Yes to open the file.

Keep the file open. You will need to use the column headings Username and Exam in the next steps.
