Marking committees are used in the following use cases:

  • A course has different tutorial/prac/workshop groups; each tutor needs to mark the students in their respective tutorial groups.
  • Each grader would like to mark a certain number of student submissions.

The other marking options include:

Note: Committees created this way are for tests created directly in Deliver.

The workflow to create marking committees involves 2 steps:

  1. Enrol students in the Inspera test using a CSV file. Students need to be enrolled in the test before they can be enrolled in the committees.
  2. Create marking committees in Inspera using CSV files:
    • Download the group set (i.e Tutorial/Prac/Workshop group list)
    • Create tutorial/prac lists in CSV files for each committee
    • Upload the CSV files to the Inspera test.

Notes

  • When Committees are enabled, you must ensure that every Grader has been assigned to a Committee.
  • Committees can be edited but must not be deleted due to some known technical issues that create issues (i.e. students cannot be deleted from the committee).
