    3. Workshop Overview

    This course is an introduction to Blackboard Grade Centre, and will familiarise participants with the commonly-used functions. Participants will learn how to create different grade column types, create categories, create marking schema; enter results, upload results from an auto-marked paper-based MCQ test or exam; mark non-submission assignments; calculate final grades and upload final grades to SI-net. 

    All Blackboard and external tools that you set to be assessable automatically have a column created in the Grade Centre where the results will be stored including:

    • TurnItIn
    • Assignments
    • Blackboard tests
    • Inspera LTI
    • H5P
    • Discussion board forums
    • Blogs
    • Wikis
    • Group tools: blogs, journals and wikis
