Questions can be added to a test (refer Create a Test guide) or pool (refer Create a Pool guide).

Example question

If In the year 122 AD, the Roman Emperor Hadrian [visited] his provinces in Britain. On his visit, the Roman soldiers [told] him that Pict tribes from Britain’s north had [attacked] them. So Hadrian [gave] the order to build a protective wall across one of the narrowest parts of the country.

Select question type

  1. Click on the Create Question button.
  2. Select Jumbled Sentence from the drop down menu.

  1. Enter a descriptive name for the question in the Question Title textbox.
  2. Enter the question into the Question Text  textbox, including unique variable in square brackets for where the word choice drop down lists are to be placed.

  1. Leave the Allow Partial Credit checkbox checked.

Note:  If you uncheck this checkbox, students will need to match all options correctly to receive any marks.

  1. Select the required number from the Number of Answers drop down list. OR
  2. Click on the Remove button to delete a question.
  3. Enter each answer in a separate Answer textbox.

Submit Information

  1. Click on the Next button.

  1. Select each correct answer from the appropriate drop down list.

  1. Giving specific feedback is optional. The default is Correct / Incorrect.

Categories and Keywords

Adding categories and keywords to questions, allows you to search you tests and pools for questions by topic etc.

To add a new Category / Topic / Level of Difficulty / Keyword:

  1. Click on the Add button.
  2. Click on the OK button.

To delete a Category / Topic / Level of Difficulty / Keyword:

  1. Click on the Delete button.

To add an existing Category / Topic / Level of Difficulty / Keyword:

  1. Click on the Choose from Existing button.
  2. Select a word from the drop down list.

Instructor Notes

  1. Notes added in the Instructor Notes text box cannot be viewed by students.
