What are hurdles?

In some courses one (or more) of the assessment items may be classified as a hurdle task which means that a student must achieve a certain mark on this assessment in order to achieve a passing grade (or higher) in the course.

Gradebook does not have the ability to apply hurdles to the Overall mark however Gradebook can assist in identifying students that may have failed a hurdle task which will then make it easier for you to make adjustments to the Overall mark for those students.

Note: If your course has multiple hurdles you may need to create additional hurdle columns to assist in identifying students that have failed these hurdles.
