Gradebook filters (Ultra)

Why would I use filters in Gradebook?

Filters provide staff with the ability to limit the view of what is seen in the Gradebook Marks area.

Filters can be applied across the following areas:

Students
Groups
Categories
Assessment Type
Markable items

Due to the Gradebook Grid View update, filters are currently not carrying through to the flexible marking interface for both Assignments and Tests. We are awaiting an update from the vendor to fix this issue.

Apply filter to Gradebook

Select Gradebook from the navigation bar.
Tip: The default view is Grid view, if you are in List view, please click on the Grid view (4 squares) button.
Click on the Filter button.
Select the desired filter to apply:
- Students: Can select individual students or multiple students.
- Groups: Can select individual groups or multiple groups.
- Category: Can select individual or multiple categories from the available categories.
- Assessment Types: Select from Formative or Summative.
- Markable items: Can select individual mark columns or multiple columns.
Click on the Apply button.
The Applied Filters will be listed next to the filter icon.
Click on the X to remove each individual filter.
