10. Feedback and marking
Mark using a rubric
In Turnitin Feedback Studio, you are able to mark using the attached rubric which will calculate a grade out of 100. This mark will then automatically be converted to be out of the total points possible for the assignment.

Feedback Summary
The Feedback Summary section allows you to add both a text and voice comment to student assignments which may summarise in-text feedback and the grade they were awarded.

Tasks to complete
Mark using the rubric
- Click on the Rubric button.
- Click on the four arrow button to view the rubric in full size.
- Select a mark for each criterion.
- Click on the Apply to Grade to convert the percentage to the final mark.
Add a voice comment
- Click on the Feedback Summary button in the menu.
- Click on the Record button.
Note: You may need to click on the Allow in a pop-up window to allow your browser to use your computer microphone.
- Say the words "Excellent work Studious".
- Click on the Stop recording icon to end the recording.
- Click on the Save recording icon to save the recording.
Add a text comment
- Click on the Feedback Summary button in the menu.
- Enter "Excellent work Studious" in the textbox.
