Submit on behalf of a student

If a student is having trouble submitting their Turnitin assignment, you are able to submit on their behalf.

For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Submit an assignment on behalf of a student guide. 

Tasks to complete

Create a sample student assignment

  1. Open a blank Word document and include the following information:

  • A paragraph copied from Wikipedia
  • A paragraph copied from a newspaper article written today
  • A paragraph copied from any other website
  1. Save the Word document to your desktop.

Submit the sample student assignment

  1. From the Course Menu, select Assessment. 
  2. Click on the Literature Review folder.
  3. Click on the Literature Review Turnitin Submission link.
  4. Click in the Submit on behalf of student textbox and select Studious Student from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on the Choose file button and select the sample student assignment from your desktop. 
  6. Click on the Upload and Review button. 
  7. Click on the Submit to Turnitin button.
