Download Turnitin assignments, submitted and/or marked (Ultra) - eLearning - University of Queensland

Use this guide also for downloading Grade Reports for marked assignments.

There are two ways to download the original file submitted by students to Turnitin.

by individual submission
bulk download of all submissions

Access Turnitin

From the relevant Assessment folder, click on the required submission link.

You will be taken to the submissions in Turnitin (in a new window if you checked the Open in new window box).

Download individual submissions

Bulk download submissions

Click on the Download button.
Select from the 5 available options.
The following pop-up message will be displayed.

You will be able to see when the download is complete in Turnitin Notifications tab.
Click on the file name to save it on your computer.

When the file is saved, click on it in the File Explorer to select it.
Right-click on the file and select Extract All... from the drop-down list.

Click on the Extract button.

The files will be extracted into a folder in the same location as the zip file.

Download marked assignments

Click on the Download button.
Select from the 5 available options.
Click on Grade Report for an Excel file with the submission information and grades.
Click on GradeMark PDFs to download the submissions with grades, comments and rubrics used for scoring.
From the Bulk Downloads window that appears, click on the .zip file name.

Enter a File name in the text-field.

Click on the Save button.

Click on the file in the file explorer to select it.
Right-click on the file and select Extract All... from the dropdown.

Click on the Extract button.

The files will be extracted into a folder in the same location as the zip file.
