EchoPoll - Share poll resources from EchoPoll dashboard (Ultra)

Reminder: EchoPoll has 2 uses in class, the resources of which can be re-used or shared.

1. EchoPoll web environment: You can create and share your poll resources with colleagues from your EchoPoll dashboard or web environment.
2. EchoPoll PPT app: You can create and share the PPT lecture slides with EchoPoll questions with your team. Your colleagues can use your PPT slides and run polling sessions on their device if they install the EchoPoll app.

To create shared resources from EchoPoll dashboard or web environment, three steps are involved:

• Access your EchoPoll dashboard or web environment
• Create a course and add instructors. Note: All added instructors will have the same access as you to edit the course details, create and add resources.
• Create poll decks in the course.

This guide provides instructions on sharing poll resources with your teaching team from your EchoPoll dashboard or web environment.

Access EchoPoll dashboard/web environment

1. Access your EchoPoll dashboard or web environment

Create course and add instructors

1.  Click on the Create button.
2. Select Course from the drop-down menu.

3. Enter your course's name. Note: The course name could be specific to your course or generic to be shared with other courses.
4. Click on the Create button.

5. Click on the Details button.

5. Optionally, you can add a Cover Image for your course.
6. Click on the Edit button. 

7. Optionally, enter a brief description of the course.
8. Enter your colleague's name in the Instructors search box.
9. Select the relevant email address. Note: You can select multiple names to add.
10. Click on the Save button.

11. Click on the Back button to go back to your course list.

12. All of the courses you created are displayed.
13. Hover the mouse over the course you would like to work on. Click on the Open Course button.

Run poll sessions from shared courses

1. Click on the New Session button to start a new poll session.

2. Click on either the New Poll Deck button to create a new question set or the Add Existing button to re-use the question set you have created in your poll deck.

If you select the New Poll Deck option, you will need to:

• Create a poll deck
• Create questions in a poll deck

3. Start the poll session.

Access shared courses from EchoPoll dashboard

1. Access your EchoPoll dashboard.

2. Scroll down to the My Courses list.
3. Click on the View All Courses link.

4. Your course list will be displayed.
5. Click on the down arrow next to the My Courses button.

6. Select the Shared with me option.

7. All shared courses will be displayed.
