What is a Content Area?

A content area is displayed as a menu item in your Learn.UQ Course Menu. It is a page in Learn.UQ where you can create content (items) and add links to files, images, websites, audio, videos, course tools and assessment. The content area can be organised using Folders, Learning Modules, Lesson Plans, Module Pages and Blank Pages. The UQ course template contains two Content Areas: Learning Resources and Assessment.

Why would I use a Content Area?

The Learning Resources Content Area is used to link to items such as lecture presentations, lecture recordings, reading lists, subject guides, course notes, tutorial questions and laboratory questions.

The Assessment Content Area is used to link assessment instructions, resources, marking schemes, assignment submission links and TurnItIn submission links.
