2. Request a Staging Course

Before you begin, you will need to submit a staging course request to order a course which will allow you to experiment with and test Learn.UQ functionality.

    1. Submit the Request Form to order a Learn.UQ Quizzes, Tests and Exams staging course.
    2. Wait to receive a confirmation email that the Staging course has successfully been created.
    3. Visit https://learn.uq.edu.au to access your Learn.UQ Tests, Quizzes and Exams staging course.

    Complete Test via Enter Student Preview

    1. Ensure you have accessed the Blackboard Staging environment with your staff login details.
    2. Access the Learn.UQ Tests, Quizzes and Exams Online Workshop - Staging Course.
    3. In the training course, click on the eye icon to Enter Student Preview.
    4. From the Course Menu, select Assessment.
    5. Click on the Active Learning - All Question Types link.
    6. Complete the test and at the end, click on the Save and Submit button.

    Note: Complete the test without worrying about answering correctly. The purpose of you completing the test is understanding the variety of questions.

    1. Click on the Exit Preview button.
    2. Select the Keep the preview user and all data radio button.
    3. Click on the Continue button.

    Mark Test from Instructor's Point of View

    1. In your course site, go to Control Panel then Grade Centre > Full Grade Centre.
    2. Locate the column Active Learning -  All Question Types then locate the cell with the Student Preview used to complete the test.
    3. Next to the yellow exclamation mark, select Attempt [date] from the drop-down menu.
    4. Mark the test from an Instructor's point of view by providing a point score to the Essay and File Response questions.
    5. Click on the Submit button.
