Inspera Assessment - Marking Workshop

The Assumptions and Queries page provides students with a free text field into which they can specify any assumptions they have made or queries they had in completing the exam and which questions those assumptions or queries relate to.

Tasks to complete

Enter mark 0 for Assumptions and Queries questions

1. Access your test Workspaces.
2. Click on the Marking tab.
3. Navigate to Question 11.
4. Enter 0 in the Marks box.
   Note: This question is the manually marked text area type, so mark 0 has to be given. This question type allows the download of responses in the next task. In practice, you have another option of creating this question as a not-marked question type, but it will not allow you to download the responses.
5. Click outside of the box. The mark will be saved automatically.
6. Click on the down arrow (alias Next candidate) to navigate to a different student.
7. Repeat Steps 4 & 5.

Note: The other approach with the Assumptions and Querries question is to create it as a not-marked question type.

 Download Assumptions and Queries responses

1. Access your test Workspaces.
2. Click on the Options button.
3. Select the Print and download all submissions option from the dropdown list.
4. Select the Other radio button for the setting Questions to include.
5. Select the Assumptions question from the Select question drop-down menu.
6. Click on the Settings tab.
7. Uncheck the Cover page checkbox.
8. Uncheck the Documents checkbox.
9. Click on the Merge PDFs and download link from the Download tab.
10. Click on the Download now link.
11. Save the file to your harddrive.
12. Click on the Save button.
