13. Marking navigation

In this step, you will practice:

  • navigating between different tabs in Workspaces
  • navigating between questions while marking the same student, and
  • navigating between students while marking the same question.

Note that the 'sticky' technology in Workspaces allows you to navigate to different tabs while marking the same student and question.

Tasks to complete

Navigate between tabs in Workspaces

  1. Access your test Workspaces.
  2. Click on the Results or Overview tab.
  3. Check which student you are viewing in the Results or Overview area.
  4. Click on the Marking tab under the Grader workspace.
  5. Check if it is the same student you view in the Results or Overview area.
  6. Optionally, you can click on the Explanations area.
  7. Check if it is the same student.

Navigate between students while marking the same question

  1. Access your test Workspaces.
  2. Click on the Marking tab.
  • The first student and Question 1 is displayed.
  1. Click on the down arrow (alias Next candidate) to navigate to a different student.
  • You will see the same question but a different student.
  1. Repeat Step 3 until you see question 6.

Navigate between questions while marking the same student

  1. Click on the right arrow (alias Next question) to move to the next question.
  • You will see the same student but a different question.
