15. Enter mark and override mark

Two tasks in marking are to:

  • enter mark for manually marked questions and
  • override mark - this can be done for both auto-marked and manually marked questions.

Tasks to complete

Enter mark

  1. Access your test Workspaces.
  2. Click on the Marking tab.
  3. Navigate to a manually marked question (e.g. Question 6).
  4. Click on the Marks box. A mark list from 0 - 6 is displayed.
  5. Select a mark. Alternatively, enter a mark.
  6. Click outside of the box. The mark will be saved automatically.
  7. Click on the down arrow (alias Next candidate) to navigate to a different student.
  8. Repeat Steps 4 - 6.

Override mark

  1. Navigate to a manually marked question (e.g. Question 6) that has been marked.
  2. Either:
  • click on the Reset button, or
  • click on the Revert icon, or
  • delete the mark from the Marks box.
  1. Enter or select a new mark. Note: the grader's name and time of mark override will be displayed.

Optionally, you can Add text explanations to explain the change of mark.
