Create folder (Ultra)

Why would I use a folder?

A folder can be used to organise content within your course site making it easier to manage, as well as allowing students to easily locate their content.

You can have a maximum of 3 levels of folders within your course site (2 folder levels inside a Learning Module), however eLearning recommends where possible to limit this to a maximum of 2 levels of folders (1 folder inside a Learning Module) to reduce the amount of clicking required by students to access their content.

Create a folder

Navigate to desired location where folder is to be created.
Click on the Add new content (+) sign.
Select Create from the drop-down list.
Select Folder from the Create Item menu.
Click on the Folder Title and enter a meaningful title. e.g. Assessment 1: Reflective Journal
Select Visible to students from the Visibility drop-down list.
Click on the Description textbox and enter a meaningful description e.g. Click on the folder to access the submission link and resources for the reflective journal.
Click on the Save button.
