Video and Audio Feedback (YouTube 2m 23s)
Overview
Video and audio feedback can be provided to students' Learn.UQ (Blackboard) assignment submissions. Please note that the recordings have a maximum length of five minutes and that you are able to record multiple video/audio comments within the Feedback to Learner textbox.
Access feedback
- Navigate to the Learn.UQ (Blackboard) student assignment submissions. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Navigate Assignments guide.
- Click on the show/hide grading panel button to view more options.
- Click on the A icon.
- Click on the 3 dots to expand the text editor.
- Click on the Add content button.
- Click on Insert from Webcam.
- Click on the Allow button to permit the browser to use your computer's default microphone and webcam.
- Optionally, click on the video icon to record video, as well as audio feedback.
Record feedback
Start the recording
- Click on the Record button to start recording.
Note: There will be a 5 second countdown before recording begins.
Pause/resume the recording
- Click on the Pause button to pause the recording.
- Click on the Resume button to resume the recording.
Note: There will be a 5 second countdown before the recording resumes.
Stop the recording
- Click on the Stop button once you have finished recording your feedback.
- You will then be presented with a preview window where you can review your video/audio feedback.
Delete the recording
- Click on the Delete recording link to discard your recording.
Save the recording
- Click on the Save and exit button to save your video/audio feedback.
- Click on the Insert Recording button to attach the audio/video feedback.
- Click on the Submit button.
Note: You can optionally add additional text feedback in the Feedback to Learner textbox.
- In the Attempt textbox, enter the student result.
- Click on the Submit button to finalise student feedback.
