The workflow for creating a poll in PowerPoint includes the following steps:

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the EchoPoll desktop app.
    Note: You can Save the desktop app to the taskbar.
  2. Pre-select the settings in the global setups.
  3. Open a new PowerPoint presentation or the one you have.
  4. Pre-select the settings for your poll in PowerPoint.
  5. Add the content/teaching slides.
  6. Add a join slide (before the first polling slide).
  7. Create a question (e.g. Multiple choice)
  8. Check the question options (settings) 
  9. Preview the polling question.
  10. Create another question.
  11. Start your polling session.
  12. Join your own poll to check accessibility and content.

Note: If you want to use the app on the desktop of a lecture room on campus, you can contact ITS to request the app to be installed.
