Student Training Report

The Student Training Report tool allows staff to check the status of which students have completed their mandatory training modules, such as lab safety training. The training report is run within each unique course, allowing staff to easily see only the students within their own course.

Access the Student Training Report

The Student Training Report can be accessed via the navigational menu in your Blackboard course (previously listed as the OHS Report).

Open your Blackboard course.
In the Course Management menu, under Course Tools, select Student Training Report.

Note: If accessing the report in an Ultra course, click on Books and Tools and select Student Training Report from the list of tools.

The Student Training Report will now open in a new tab.

Run a report

Once the tool opens in a new tab, you’ll see a complete list of training modules displayed.

Select the appropriate module from the list, or locate it via the Search box (modules are searchable via code or title).
Select the required module and then press Submit.

A summary displaying Module code, title, and the number of students who have completed/not completed the training will be displayed. Note: this will only display each student’s most recent attempt of the training module.
Below the summary, a full list of student details is displayed, along with completion status, and date attempted.
To download a copy of the full report, select Download Report at the bottom-right of the screen. This will export to an .xlsx file, containing two tabs: the report summary and the detailed report.
