Creating learning journeys in Learn.UQ
Consider creating a learning journey for your students in this upcoming Summer Semester by combining different elements of our virtual learning environment into a sequence. Within Learning Resources, you can:
- add links to individual lecture recordings, or embed the video as a thumbnail using Kaltura
- add Interactive Learning Objects (H5P) to reinforce learning content
- promote engagement using Padlet
- link assessments at appropriate points of the learning journey.
Generating past exam papers for the Library
Use the Printer Bookmarklet to save Blackboard Test exams as a PDF for proofreading purposes or to provide a past exam paper to the Library.
Grade Centre
Direct upload of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
Do you have auto-marked MCQs in your final exam? If so, you can directly upload marked MCQ test results to Grade Centre. The following video shows how to upload paper-based MCQ test results to Grade Centre using the provided results spreadsheet (YouTube, 8m 12s).
Finalise results
The following video provides a step-by-step guide to finalise your results using Grade Centre (YouTube, 8m 43s).
Control the release of results
During marking or moderation, you may not be ready for students to see their results. To control the release of results from Turnitin, Blackboard assignments and tests you need to carefully set both the individual tool settings and the Grade Centre column settings (hide from students on/off).
