Warning: DO NOT upload an assignment file with Edge (Microsoft browser) while the original file is open on your computer. A blank copy of the file will be uploaded. Use an alternative web browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

2. Assignment submission

Use the Blackboard text editor tools to attach your assignment submission files, link to online content or submit video/media files.

Attach files

  1. Click on the Attachment button in the text editor.

  2. Locate the file.
  3. Click on the Open button.
  4. Optionally, update the Display Name textbox.
  5. Click on the Save button.

  6. Alternatively, drag and drop a file from a location into the text editor box, update the Display Name textbox and click on the Save button.

Link to online content

  1. Click on the Link button in the text editor.

  2. Paste a web link into the Link URL box.
  3. Enter a title for the link.
  4. Click on the Insert button.
