To avoid having to create a new padlet for each week of the semester, we recommend creating one padlet for the entire semester and exporting the content at the end of each week, prior to clearing all posts ready for the following week's activity.

The benefit of this approach is that you only need to share one padlet link with students for the entire semester. You are also able to change the format of the board and customise the appearance each week if needed.

2. Export the padlet

At the end of the activity or week, we recommend you export your padlet content as an image, PDF, CSV file or Excel spreadsheet to save a copy of the content for your records, such as posts and comments, prior to clearing all posts.

For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Export a padlet guide by Padlet.

Note: If you would also like to export comments, you will need to save your Padlet as a PDF or image as the Excel and CSV options do not include comments.

Tip: Once you have exported your Padlet, you can then share the file on Blackboard for students to access at a later date. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Add a Content Menu file link and the Add a file to a document content block guides.
