Teaching and Learning Week 2025  

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Teaching and Learning Week 2025. The week saw over 1150 attendees, facilitators and presenters join us in celebrating teaching and learning at UQ. Recordings of the Opening Address by Professor Tracey Bunda, the Indigenising Curriculum Showcase and the AI and I? Who’s Writing This PhD Thesis?! session are now available to watch online.

How to check late Inspera exam submissions  

Staff can view and sort late submissions in Inspera exams and submit a test attempt that is in progress on behalf of a student.

The eProfessionalism module (within the Digital Essentials series) helps students develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed post-graduation. The module is embedded into courses to make it more accessible for students.

Applications now open – Teaching@UQ and Coordinating@UQ 2026

Build your teaching skills with Teaching@UQ and Coordinating@UQ. These courses are part of the Teaching Foundations suite, which helps you creatively connect curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment to foster active student participation and learning. They provide opportunities to apply foundational learning theory in practice while supporting you to create engaging and effective learning environments. Teaching@UQ is designed for UQ staff with teaching responsibilities, while Coordinating@UQ is aimed at those with course coordination responsibilities.

Apply online for Teaching@UQ (Summer Intensive and Semester 1) or Coordinating@UQ (Semester 1 Intensive) by 12 December for delivery at St Lucia and Gatton.

Teaching Foundations also includes CaPE@UQLD@UQ, and the RPL Module. Visit the course pages for more details about these streams and how to apply.

Learning Designers

Learning Designers provide pedagogical support to academics in curriculum and assessment design, collaborating on learning experiences and activities, and integration of evidence-informed teaching and learning practices. 

For faculty or school-level support, please refer to the list of Learning Designers in your area. 

Educational Media Production

The ITaLI Educational Media Production Team works closely with academics and Learning Designers to produce educational videos, audio content, graphics and animations that support teaching and learning initiatives across UQ. If you have a project that could benefit from video, animation or graphic design, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest.
