Secure assessment software pilots Semester 2, 2026 

During Semester 2, the Lead through Learning – AI Tools and Technologies project will pilot a number of systems as part of the University's strategic approach to secure assessment. The Stream 1 – Assessment Platforms Pilots project page provides an overview of the initiatives and invites expressions of interest from course coordinators interested in participating.

To order your course site, click the Site Request Form link on the Institution Page in Learn.UQ (Blackboard) and complete the relevant online form.

Check the history of mark changes 

Gradebook keeps a record of all changes made to marks during the semester. You can view all changes and comments using the Mark History tool to confirm their validity and check for errors.

Semester 1, 2026 course teaching feedback surveys now open 

The Student Evaluation of Course and Teaching (SECaT) and Student Evaluation of Tutors (SETutor) surveys are now open and close Friday 5 July 11:59pm AEST, enabling students to provide feedback on their learning experience this semester.  

Staff that are listed as a course coordinator, lecturer or tutor in the course profile will be evaluated. They will receive email reminders throughout the survey period instructing them how to share survey QR codes and monitor response rates. Please contact evaluations@uq.edu.au if you have any questions.

Learning Designers

Learning Designers provide pedagogical support to academics in curriculum and assessment design, collaborating on learning experiences and activities, and integration of evidence-informed teaching and learning practices. 

For faculty or school-level support, please refer to the list of Learning Designers in your area. 

Educational Media Production

The ITaLI Educational Media Production Team works closely with academics and Learning Designers to produce educational videos, audio content, graphics and animations that support teaching and learning initiatives across UQ. If you have a project that could benefit from video, animation or graphic design, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest.
