eLearning Workshops 

The eLearning team are offering a range of practical workshops on eLearning tools during 2023. A description of each workshop, dates and registration is available on the at ITaLI Workshops and short courses

Ready to Teach Week (6–10 February) and Ready to Tutor Week (21–23 February)

The programs for both Ready to Teach Week and Ready to Tutor Week are now live on ITaLI website. Both events have been designed to help teaching staff prepare for Semester 1. More sessions may be added in the next few weeks as they open for registration.

UQ ePortfolio system – Semester 2 2023

ePortfolios encourage engagement through drafting, reworking and feedback uptake. UQ's ePortfolio system enables the collection of authentic assessment pieces program-wide and provides a space for students to make sense of their employability development and create a professional portfolio.

iThenticate – text matching for research papers

The iThenticate text matching system for researchers is available to all UQ staff. While iThenticate uses the same underlying technology and database as Turnitin, the functionality, user experience and reports are designed to meet the needs of researchers. iThenticate allows you to quickly upload, check and examine documents using a web-based interface. Researchers can also share documents, collaborate in groups and view in-depth analytics to provide visibility of content submissions and levels of originality over time.

The eLearning Systems and Support team provides eLearning Adviser Consultations service to help course teaching staff and administrative staff implement eLearning solutions for the most common teaching and learning problems, using centrally supported eLearning tools.
