7. Add an Echo video to a Learn.UQ course

Tasks to complete

Insert an Echo Video using the Text Editor

  1. In your Staging course site, from the Course Menu, select Announcements.

Note: As long as a Visual Textbox Editor is available, you can add the Echo Video in that manner. For the online workshop, it will be added in the Announcements section.

  1. Click on the Create Announcement button.
  2. Enter "Welcome Message" to the Subject textbox.
  3. In the Textbox Editor, click on the Add content (plus) button.
  4. ​Select EchoVideo Deep Linking Tool from the menu.
  5. In the Email textbox enter your uq email address and click on the Sign In button.
  6. From the drop-down list in the Institution textbox select University of Queensland and click the Sign In button.
  7. Click on the Launch Media Picker link.
  8. Click on your video titled <your name> Introduction - Week 1 e.g. JimBob Introduction - Week 1 and click on the Next button.
  9. Click on the Embed button.

Note: The media will be displayed in the Textbox Editor.

  1. Click on the Submit button.
