5. Complete exam as Candidate (fake student)

Overview

In normal scenarios, the exam will have been set up and students can proceed with answer the questions. However, in order to experience the marking, complete the exam from the candidate's (fake student's) point of view.

Tasks to complete

Access candidate (fake student) credentials

  1. Enter the following link into your address bar: https://uqstafftrainingone.inspera.com/admin.
  2. Click on Deliver.
  3. Select Tests from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on your provided test.
  5. Next to 3 candidates, click on View all.
  6. Select Candidate Credentials from the drop-down arrow menu, located next to Individual submission.
  7. Take note or screenshot the Login Details for Rick, Morty and Summer as they will be required for entering the exam and completing it. Alternatively, keep the tab open for access to the Login Details.
  8. Return to the Candidates tab.
  9. Click on the Close button.

Completing test as Rick

Note: The questions do not need to be answered correctly.

  1. Enter the following link into your address bar: https://uqstafftrainingone.inspera.com/admin.
  2. Click on Deliver.
  3. Select Tests from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on your exam titled <Your Name> ABCD1234 S2 End of Semester Exam. e.g. Stirling Archer ABCD1234 S2 End of Semester Exam.
  5. In the (now) 2 candidates area, click on the Manage button.
  6. Select Candidate Credentials from the drop-down arrow menu, located next to Individual submission.
  7. Keep the tab open for access to the Login Details.
  8. Open another browser i.e. if using Google Chrome, open Firefox. Alternatively, you may use Google Incognito
  9. In the new browser, enter https://uqstafftrainingone.inspera.com in the address bar and access the website.
  10. Click on the Students Candidates Learners tab.
  11. Click on the ... or with registered user link.
  12. Enter the username for Rick in the Username (required) textbox.
  13. Enter the password for Rick in the Password (required) textbox.

Note: Each username and password will be different and should be entered carefully into the textboxes.

  1. Click on the Login button.
  2. The  <Your Name> ABCD1234 S2 End of Semester Exam (e.g. Stirling Archer ABCD1234 S2 End of Semester Exam) should appear.
  3. Click on the Click here to get ready button.
  4. Click on the Start test button.
  5. Complete the test as Rick by answering the multiple choice questions and written questions by entering "Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest planet in our solar system. Like fellow gas giant Jupiter, Saturn is a massive ball made mostly of hydrogen and helium. Saturn is not the only planet to have rings, but none are as spectacular or as complex as Saturn's. Saturn also has dozens of moons" into the text-based answers.
  6. At the end of the the test, click on the Submit now button.
  7. Click on the cog/settings icon.
  8. Click on the Log out link.

Completing test as Morty

  1. To Student Login page should appear. If not, enter https://uqstafftrainingone.inspera.com in the address bar and access the website.
  2. Click on the Students Candidates Learners tab.
  3. Click on the ... or with registered user link.
  4. Enter the username for Morty in the Username (required) textbox.
  5. Enter the password for Morty in the Password (required) textbox.

Note: Candidate login details should be in the (now) 3 candidates area of the test. Refer to the previous section's steps to access them.

Note: Each username and password will be different and should be entered carefully into the textboxes.

  5. Enter the password for Summer in the Password (required) textbox.
