3. Workshop Overview

Overview

Inspera offers a different methodology of marking student's assessment and has increased functionality to ensure grading can completed efficiently. Paricipants will learn how to:

  • Enter marks and provide feedback using annotations (comments)
  • Using criteria and bands (rubrics)
  • Adding explanations (overall feedback)
  • Reviewing the Turnitin Similarity Report
  • Releasing student results
  • Reviewing cohort performance.

Optionally, participants can also learn about advanced features such as by question marking and allocation of marking to teaching staff (marking committees).

Tests enable you to check the knowledge or skill levels of your students and can be used for both formative assessment (Test student understanding, ensure lecture content is complete) and summative assessment (post module/topic test, mid and end of semester exams).

Students complete the test by entering the appropriate information and then submitting it for marking.

The steps to create a test are:

  1. Marking the test.
  2. Releasing student results and review cohort performance.
