Generative AI tools and testing assessment

1. Access the (new) Bing webpage.
2. Click on the Open in Microsoft Edge button.

3. Click on the Open Microsoft Edge button.

4. Enter your personal email address that was registered for a Microsoft account (not UQ account).
   If you do not have a personal Microsoft account, refer to the sign-up instructions at the end of this guide.
5. Click on the Next button.

6. Enter your password into the textbox.
7. Click on the Sign in button.

8. You can decide whether to stay signed in or not by clicking on the relevant button.

9. The option to link your personal account with your work account is recommended because it will provide you with more capabilities for chatting/working with Bing. Click on the Link now button.

10. The chat window will be displayed for you to start chatting/working in Bing.

Create a personal Microsoft account

1. Access the Microsoft webpage.
2. Click on the Sign in button.

3. Click on the Create one button.
4. Click on the Next button.

5. Enter your personal email account.
6. Click on the Next button.

7. Enter a password to your account in the textbox.
8. Click on the Next button.

9. Enter your first and last name in the text boxes.
10. Click on the Next button.

11. Enter your country and birthday details in the text boxes.
12. Click on the Next button.

13. A request to verify your email will be displayed

14. Access your mailbox to get the security code to enter the textbox in Step 13.

15. Click on the Next button to start the not-robot puzzle. There will be three pictures you need to match.

16. Click on the Submit button to submit your answer.

17. Once you completed the puzzle correctly, your account will be created.

18. You will be prompted to start your chat. Click on the Chat now button to start chatting/working with Bing.

Access Bing via the Microsoft Edge browser.

1. Click on the Microsoft Edge icon on your desktop.

Alternatively:

1. Click on the Window icon from your desktop.

2. Select Edge from the All apps list
