Use of External User Accounts for Learn.UQ (Original)
External User (EM) accounts are designated for individuals outside of the University of Queensland (UQ), including guest lecturers, professional collaborators, and researchers involved in activities relevant to the course coordination. These accounts facilitate access to Learn.UQ for legitimate educational and professional purposes.
Acceptable Uses of External User Accounts
- Guest Lecturers: External experts invited to contribute to course content or deliver lectures.
- Professional Peers: Collaborators who are part of ongoing research projects or initiatives linked to the teaching activities of the Course Coordinator.
- Research Activities: Individuals involved in research that aligns with the curriculum and educational goals of UQ courses.
Important Restrictions
- Licensing Limitations: External user accounts are not available for use by external or prospective students due to licensing restrictions.
- Limited Access: Users created through this tool will only have access to Learn.UQ. Access to integrated systems such as Echo360, UQ Extend, or Padlet is restricted solely to UQ staff and student accounts.
