Padlet now has an app client
Coordinators can now use Padlet from an iPad or iPhone using an app from the App Store. Padlet is an effective in-class active learning tool that can be used to engage students and promote deeper understanding in lectures and tutorials. The tool allows teaching staff to ask open questions, gain immediate feedback from students and adjust their lectures/tutorials accordingly. Questions can be posed to check students' understanding of lecture content, identify student misconceptions and facilitate discussions. Using Padlets, students can contribute to the virtual wall in a number of ways including adding text, uploading images, documents such as Word and PDF and embedding You-Tube videos.
Now with the Padlet app, instructors will be able to create a Padlet wall on their smart device (iPad).
For further information refer to the Using the Padlet app on a smart device (iPad) guide. Nominate for the eLearning Solutions Service to receive individual help to implement Padlet.
