Why would I archive a course?

As per procedure 3.80.06 Availability and Archiving of eLearning Content (Blackboard), eLearning course resources and material are held centrally on the centrally supported eLearning system (Blackboard)  for the stated time frame. You can archive a copy your course to personal or faculty storage as backup or if you wish to keep a copy of the course beyond the stated time frame.

Other Considerations

It is also possible to download and archive other course teaching materials and assessment items to personal or faculty storage.

TurnItIn: Copies of submitted assessment items can be downloaded, view the Downloading TurnItIn assignment submissions guide.

Virtual Classroom: Virtual Classroom recordings can be downloaded to local storage, view the Recording a meeting guide.

Lecture Theatre Recordings: Lecture Theatre Recordings can be stored offline, view the downloading old recordings guide.
