Library Course Reading Lists
For your Course Reading Lists to be processed in time for Semester 1, please submit them by Monday 19 December using one of the two options below:

Direct upload of MCQ spreadsheets to Grade Centre
ITS has been working to refine the MCQ spreadsheets that are provided to course coordinators after MCQ exams are marked. Course coordinators will now receive an additional spreadsheet in their MCQ results email. The new spreadsheet name will start with "Blackboard". This spreadsheet will allow for direct upload of MCQ marks to Grade Centre. Refer to the MCQ direct upload to Grade Centre guide for step-by-step instructions on uploading your MCQ spreadsheet.

Video Production workshop
The new Video Production course introduces participants to basic video production techniques to edit recordings taken on a smartphone or tablet. The course provides an introduction to Adobe Premier Pro, as well as enabling participants to develop their understanding of the different ways educational videos can be used for teaching and learning. Practical skills covered will include selection of shots, timeline frame editing, basic audio adjustments, basic effects, basic title design, and video exports.

Showcasing Teaching and Learning Innovation Seminar
Would you like to know what innovative practices your colleagues have been working on? Seeking inspiration for your own teaching? ITaLI invites all staff to participate in a showcase of teaching and learning innovation seminar 1-4pm, Monday 6 June 2016 at the Learning and Innovation Building (17), Room 202. Hear from OLT Grant/Fellowship applicants as they present on their project practice and outcomes, share ideas about teaching and learning innovation, and network across afternoon social drinks. The event concludes with light refreshments. Places are limited, register via the Staff Development site.
Applications open for 2016 Teaching Innovation Grants
Would you like to be funded up to $200,000 for your student experience initiative? The Teaching Innovation Grants (TIG) scheme supports staff to investigate, develop and/or implement initiatives in teaching and learning that enhance the student experience. TIG projects should be aligned to UQ’s institutional priorities, identified during the UQ Student Strategy consultation, and general higher education priorities. Application guidelines are available on the TIG website. Applications close Friday 15 July.
Learn.UQ upgrade July 2016
The next Blackboard upgrade will be on Monday 11 July and Tuesday 12 July, during the Inter-Semester Recess - the week before Mid-Year Orientation Week. Please make a note of these dates in your calendar. This week presents the lowest impact on live teaching activity.
