Practical, hands-on workshops in teaching and learning technologies are offered to help staff prepare their courses each semester. In September, 6 workshops were conducted with 83 participants attending. This year to date, 51 staff workshops have been run with a total of 718 attendances. Since 2012, there has been a total of 14,647 staff workshop attendances.

eLearning Adviser Consultations

In September, eLearning advisers provided 116 consultations to help courses adopt eLearning technology. Year to date eLearning Advisers provided 912 consultations that have catered for 587 Course Coordinators teaching into 760 courses, which constitute approximately 21.7% of all courses in the university and servicing a total of 97,994 student experiences across the university. The top three most common individual tools implemented are Ultra Gradebook, Turnitin and Ultra Assignment.

The number of jobs for September 2026 decreased by 55.8% when compared to September 2025 and decreased by 1.4% when compared to September 2024 and decreased by 2.7% when compared to August 2026.

Course Management jobs for September 2026 decreased by 80% when compared with September 2025 and decreased by 67.3% when compared with September 2024 and decreased by 40.4% when compared with August 2026.

Tools & Other jobs for September 2026 decreased by 49.4% when compared with September 2025 yet increased by 20.2% when compared with September 2024 and increased by 4% when compared with August 2026.

The distribution of jobs were mostly through Tools & Other (90.45%) with Course Management (9.55%).

RESPONSE TO SUPPORT REQUESTS FLAGGED AS URGENT BY CLIENTS

During September 2026 there were twenty nine (29) Urgent jobs. A breakdown of the Urgent jobs are as follows.
Echo360 (2), Exams (1), Gradebook (1), Grades upload (2), Inspera (4), Learn.UQ Access (5), Learn.UQ Tests (1), Learn.UQ Usage (1), Site Request (1), Turnitin eleven (11).

All Urgent requests were responded to within an hour.
